I always find it to be a difficult task to introduce myself.  And this being my first blog entry I feel obliged to tell you something about who I am, but there are simply too many things I’ll never be able to tell you about myself, either because I’m ignorant of those things or because my own perception of myself is not always telling of how I come across to others.

So instead of up front giving you a load of trivial things to try to remember about me, I’ll try to slowly reveal a piece of my heart to you over time through my entries here, so be patient. I’ll do my best at being forward, but I’m afraid I’ll lean more towards only revealing a part of me that I want you to see, so be warned.

And as dependent as I suspect you may become on hearing my periodic insights on life, know that they will inevitably fail you, and most likely in the following areas:

Grammar- I stink at it.  Ask Holli.

Truth- I don’t have all of the answers

Clarity- you’ll see, if you haven’t already.  I’m good at making simple things confusing.

Consistency- this is my first time to blog.  I suspect it may take me a while to catch on.

Fullness- I often leave out monumental information in making a point.

This is my disclaimer.

To combat it, the first thing I DO want you to know about me is I want to spend some time with you.  I want to get to know you, and you me, outside of this blog (I’m assuming of course you live in College Station/Bryan and have a connection to our college ministry).  Let’s hang out sometime!  I like Frisbee, parks, hangouts, meals, coffee shops… take your pick.

God bless, and have a glorious day today.

GMil
