SAM/Mentors PDF Print E-mail
We've all heard and recognize how much of our life of faith in Christ is "caught" and not just "taught." And bascially, that's what we aspire for through our mentoring and SAM (Student Adoption Ministry) programs. It's connecting one heart, one family, to another heart, and family, to bring encouragement, hope, and growth.

SAM is designed to connect university and college students involved in our church with families for fellowship and encouragement. Renewal and sign up for SAM (both parents and students) happens about every October. However, we'll try to hook you up at any point in the year if you'll let us know you're interested. We ask that you get together at least twice a month. It could be for lunch after church, to a kid's ballgame, to wash clothes, or just hanging out! If you'll email us, we'll email you back a registration form!

Mentoring is another significant and powerful way to try to connect the generations within our church. Most of these relationships are set as one-on-one relationships or groups of three. These relationships are designed to be more focused on personal spiritual growth, challenge, and support. You can expect times of Bible study, prayer, and sharing to be a part of each week's time together. Mentoring relationships are set up as we become aware of interests and requests. So, if you are interested in sharing your life in this way, email us below and we'll be in touch.
